Information for International students 2021-2022
Dear Students,We hope that this message finds you safe and well. Please find the latest information with regard to:
- Travel to and from France
- Organization of courses at ESC Clermont
1- Travel to and from FranceFollowing the Prime Minister’s recent announcements (January 29, 2020), new travel restrictions to France have been put in place and France’s borders are now closed except for ” imperative reasons”.
Students who are either starting, resuming, or ending a period of studies in France, are included in the list of “imperative reasons” justifying travel between France and a country outside the European area. Students may be asked to present a certificate of registration issued by the institution as supporting documentation.
The list of valid reasons (applicable from 00.00 hours on 31 January 2021) is included in the appendix to the travel certificates, which can be downloaded from the Ministry of the Interior’s website: https://www.interieur.gouv.fr/Actualites/L-actu-du-Ministere/Attestation-de-deplacement-et-de-voyage.2 – Organization of courses at ESC Clermont<In accordance with the new recommendations of the Ministry of Higher Education dating from January 22nd, the ESC Clermont Business School will host its educational activities in a hybrid mode as of Monday, February 1st, 2021. The idea is to allow the students of our institution to be able to go to their school without crowding our premises and while minimizing social interaction.
For each program, a schedule of distance and face-to-face courses has been established and sent to the students concerned. This calendar may be updated, if necessary, to comply with any new recommendations issued by the Ministry. We will, of course keep you updated od any changes.
The students will only be allowed to continue their courses online during the on-site class weeks under specific and exceptional circumstances (i.e no flights available, self-isolation requirements after arrival in France, a medical condition justified by a certificate …).
We are all mobilized to accompany our students and enable them to complete their courses and program in the best conditions possible. It is in the interest of the whole community to help our young generation to reach their educational goals.Take care,
The ESC Clermont International Team.
