GLODEP IN A MAP
INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION:
THE ALUMNI OF THE ERASMUS MUNDUS JOINT MASTER PROGRAM GLODEP IN A MAP
The University of Pavia is part of the GLODEP University Consortium, an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Program on Policies for International Cooperation and Development, in collaboration with the University of Palacký Olomouc (Czech Republic) and the University of Clermont Auvergne (France). Since 2017, GLODEP has selected the brightest students, from different academic backgrounds and nationalities, to provide them with specific knowledge and skills to analyze sustainable development issues and design, monitor and evaluate policies in the field at national, regional and international levels.
The Alumni Association represents an important added value of the program. It aims to unite all master’s graduates within a community that:
- fosters the link between the consortium of universities promoting the initiative and their alumni;
- enhances and involves graduates in the master’s activities; and
- promotes the development of professional and cultural relationships.
The GLODEP team at the University of Pavia, together with the GLODEP Alumni Association, has launched an interactive online map to present their graduates to international cooperation and development professionals.
It provides a visual representation of their background and diversity of skills. For each graduate, a card has been prepared with a name, email address, and a few keywords describing their core competencies. To access it, simply select the colored marker. The colors of the markers identify the year of graduation of the 84 alumni from 43 different countries, including 39 from Asia, 19 from America, 14 from Europe and 12 from Africa.
